THE VOICE BEHIND WILDWOOD
I was raised in the mountains, where healing meant more than a license—where touch was ancestral, medicine grew wild at the edge of the woods, and wisdom was something you learned to listen for.
Long before I ever stepped into a classroom or treatment room, I was taught to notice what the land was saying. To watch how a body wilts or blooms. To understand that grief, stress, and story show up in the skin long before they’re ever spoken aloud. I grew up with jars of dried plants in the pantry, hymns on the wind, and a quiet knowing that God hid medicine in creation—if we had the patience to pay attention.
That way of seeing never left me.
I have now spent 13 years in the esthetics industry, with 9 of those years as an instructor, training and mentoring future professionals. I have held licensure in Texas, Tennessee, and Georgia, and my education spans both traditional and advanced clinical modalities. My training includes professional certifications through PCA Skin, International Dermal Institute, laser technologies, HydraFacial, and multiple advanced treatment systems and protocols.
I have worked in classrooms, clinics, and treatment rooms long enough to know where our industry shines—and where it quietly breaks people down.
Alongside my professional career, service has always mattered to me. I have been honored with the Yellow Rose of Texas and the Molly Pitcher Award, recognitions rooted in volunteer work and community service—because care, to me, has never stopped at the treatment table.
Becoming a licensed esthetician gave structure and language to the work I was already doing, but it was never the beginning. The work started with women steeping leaves and prayers into the same pot. It started with the understanding that real beauty work isn’t loud or performative—it’s precise, relational, and deeply alive.
Wildwood Skin Labs was born from that place.
Not from trends, but from tradition.
Not from hustle, but from presence.
Not from burnout, but from listening.
This retreat was created for licensed estheticians who want their hands to mean more—who are ready to move beyond the shallow end of our field and into work that is skilled, regulated, and sustainable. Here, we treat the nervous system as part of the treatment room. We pair advanced education with somatic awareness. We let learning unfold in a way that honors both the science and the soul.
If that resonates in your bones,
then you’ve found the right holler.
WHAT WILDWOOD IS
Rooted. Sacred. Intentional.
Wildwood Skin Labs is an immersive retreat for licensed estheticians who want more than protocols and product lines.
We gather in the mountains—where the plants still know your name, and beauty remembers its root.
This isn’t a business bootcamp.
It’s a reclamation.
A return to beauty that holds space for soul, stillness, skill—and the Spirit behind it all.
What we believe:
Touch is sacred.
The nervous system and the skin are inseparable.
Herbal traditions and esthetic wisdom can live side by side.
Healing is slow, layered, and sometimes silent. We make space for that.
How we train:
Somatic massage
Facial sculpting & intuitive touch
Herbal steams, compresses, and infusions
Sacred rhythm in the treatment space
Nervous system grounding techniques
COME WALK THE WILDWOOD PATH
If something here felt like home—
if your hands long to hold beauty with reverence again,
if your nervous system craves slowness,
if your spirit’s been whispering there’s more than this—
Then the mountains are calling.
Wildwood is more than a retreat.
It’s a remembering.
