Code of Conduct
Wildwood Skin Labs Retreats are grounded in respect, consent, professionalism, and nervous system safety. Our goal is to create an environment where all participants feel supported, welcome, and able to learn without pressure or harm.
All participants agree to the following:
Respect & Community
Treat all attendees, instructors, staff, vendors, and venue personnel with respect at all times.
Maintain a collaborative, non-competitive learning environment.
Refrain from gossip, shaming, harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior.
Consent & Boundaries
Honor verbal and non-verbal boundaries at all times.
Participation in demonstrations, hands-on learning, or experiential activities is always optional.
No participant is ever required to give or receive touch beyond their personal comfort level.
Consent may be withdrawn at any time without explanation.
Professional Conduct
Engage in all educational activities in a professional manner.
Follow all hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols as instructed.
Practice techniques only within your licensed scope and training level.
Respect intellectual property and do not record or distribute content without permission.
Personal Responsibility & Self-Regulation
Participants are responsible for listening to their own bodies and nervous systems.
You may step out of any activity at any time for rest, regulation, or support.
Notify retreat staff if you are experiencing distress or require assistance.
Substances & Safety
Illegal substances are not permitted at any time.
Alcohol, if present during designated group experiences, must be consumed responsibly.
Any behavior that compromises safety will be addressed immediately.
Accommodations & Shared Spaces
Respect shared lodging, common areas, and quiet hours.
Be mindful of differing schedules, energy levels, and sensory needs.
Cleanliness and consideration for others are expected in all shared spaces.
Enforcement & Removal
Wildwood Skin Labs reserves the right to take appropriate action, including removal from the retreat, if a participant engages in behavior that:
Violates the Code of Conduct outlined above
Disregards consent, personal boundaries, or safety instructions
Disrupts the learning environment or shared accommodations
Poses a risk to the physical, emotional, or psychological safety of others
Fails to comply with retreat policies after being asked to do so
Determinations regarding conduct and safety are made at the sole discretion of Wildwood Skin Labs staff based on observed behavior and the needs of the retreat community.
Removal under these circumstances does not entitle the participant to a refund or reimbursement of any kind.
